Such a fun cake to do for my nephew! Roman's 3rd birthday was today, and he had a Cars theme. This cake was made out of chocolate cake, buttercream, and gumpaste.

Strawberry Buttercream
I made this simple cake today for our Sunday dinner. I used chocolate cake and made strawberry buttercream icing. Simple? Check. Delicious? Check.

New York Yankees Cake
What a fun cake this was to make! This was a "pre-grooms" cake. All the layers were done in chocolate. The baseball was formed from a ball cake pan, I hand cut the NY logo, and the middle layer of "grass" was done with a tip. Play ball!!!!

1st Birthday
For my daughters birthday cake I wanted something geometric and simple. I removed the top tier for her "smash cake" and then served the rest to guests. The bottom and top tier were chocolate cake covered in fondant, and the middle layer was red velvet.
