Bright Smash Cake

This adorable smash cake was made to take with pictures for a 1yr old. I decided to go with fondant, even though I usually just do buttercream for smash cakes because this was going to be used for photos. The bright, bold colors stand out, and the gumpaste curls were so fun to make.

Ladybug

Round two of a ladybug cake! This 3 tier cake came complete with a separate smash cake for the cute 1 year old. This entire cake was done in vanilla with raspberry filling and covered in butter cream topped with fondant.

Birdies and Paisley

This cake was designed based off of the invitation for this 3yr olds birthday. It has a shabby chic feel, and was a little different than the quirky, whimsical cakes I have done in the past. I loved how the paisley turned out, and the tree going up two layers was the unique touch it needed. The entire cake was done in red velvet with cream cheese frosting.

Here is a smaller cake done in the topsy turvy design for a 21st birthday. I have been trying out my new airbrush, so I did the whole thing with a silvery sheen. I am liking it :)
